Outdoor photography on location has its own challenges, particularly in 2016 when it involves the wettest six months in Brussels since official records began!
I have been relatively lucky, avoided the monsoon-like downpours, the never-ending drizzle, and dodged the thunderstorms during the past few weeks. But a couple of Sundays ago, I got caught in a shower in the Abbaye de la Cambre gardens in Brussels. The Boles family were delightful, and had luckily come fully prepared as advised, with umbrella's which conveniently co-ordinated with their outfits. How cool is that? It meant we could continue shooting, while adding a real Brussels twist to their memory album before leaving to return to the US.
I hope you enjoy these photo's too, and don't forget, in Brussels its better to come prepared for anything and everything!
